Unfortunately, treatment options are limited for infertility that is caused by endometriosis. Studies have shown that medical treatment for most women with endometriosis does not improve fertility rates. For women with severe endometriosis, treatment options may utilize ovulatory medications and/or surgery, followed by in vitro fertilization. Endometriosis patients can be eligible for successful IVF.
