How HPV affects men

Genital infection with low risk types of HPV is associated with genital warts in men. Infections with high risk types of HPV is associated with a rare precancerous skin condition known as penile intraepithelial neoplasia or PIN, which is almost always found in uncircumcised men. Infection from high risk HPV in men can also lead to penile cancer as well as anal cancer, although these conditions are also rare.
